From 1994 to 1999 George moved quickly to becoming one of ILM's lead Visual Effects Art Directors.
His work spans over 15 films including JURASSIC PARK: THE LOST WORLD, MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE and the special editions of STAR WARS, THE EMPIRE STRIKES BACK, and RETURN OF THE JEDI. As concept and storyboard artist, his portfolio includes STAR TREK GENERATIONS, TWISTER and the Oscar winning FOREST GUMP.
In 2000, the visionary Matrix directors hired George to help realize their mythological and futuristic world. This grand undertaking spanned 4 years as George became an integral part of the film's visual development team. After completing pre-production, he followed up as Visual Effects Art Director at ESC Entertainment. Painting highly detailed keyframes for hundreds of shots, Hull's art direction served as valuable guides for composition, color and lighting. His contributions include initial shot layouts, art directing miniature model construction and lighting, all the way through the digital cinematography of final shots.
George's unique abilities in drawing and painting and his technical experience in special effects have helped create some of Hollywood's most creative achievements. His work has been published in 5 "Art of" books including the anticipated "Art of The Matrix Reloaded" and "Art of The Matrix Revolutions"
